Pregnant teenage mothers must take in a lot of new information and stress, on top of the worry of maturing into an adult. Having a positive relationship with a nurse who back provide useful information and advice abide help to justify some of this stress. The purpose of this essay is to look into the nurse and fraught(p) adolescents relationship, and learn what helps and hurts it. First I will discuss why I chose this topic and article. Second, I will discuss the things nurses can do to improve their relationship with the patient, and things they may be doing that harms it. Lastly, I will discuss some of the implications that nurses may find when relations with a pregnant teenage patient.




Reasons
There are ii main reasons that I chose the article Pregnant Adolescents - Perils and Pearls of Communication. The low reason would be because the rate of teenage pregnancies are increasing, so I feel that it is an important thing to be amend about heading into the nursing profession. The second reason would be because the article is about avoiding biases and communicating effectively with pregnant teens, and I feel that these are essential skills that can also be transferred and used with any patient of any age.
