Overcoming My Past for a Better Future
One would deliberate at the age of 54 I would be persuasion about retirement, not taking online classes to better my future or sitting here writing an essay about my past, preface and future. Like many other people I had aforethought(ip) on going to college right after high school, further things dont always go has planned. In cast for you to understand where I am today I willing share with you some of my experiences that have made me the person I am today and using the Adult Development and tone assessment theories from class as they have applied to me.
I grew up with my parents always fighting, with it almost always getting physical.
My fuck off was an alcoholic and had a gambling problem. Mom and Dad utilize to go to the bar almost perpetuallyy night, leaving me in charge of my younger sisters. When we would hear their car coming just about the corner we would always turn off all the lights and establish that we were asleep. This however did not always work because when dad got planetary house he was always looking for something to start a fight. I cannot remember a time either one of them ever made us feel loved or cared for. Children who tangle loved and cared for were Happier and showed greater neighborly and moral maturity as adults than those who felt rejected, neglected, or unwanted (Witt & Mossler, 2010). This led to me having social problems and a lack of maturity.
