On October 30, 1735 one of the unify States founding fathers was born in Braintree, Massachusetts. He was named after his father, pot Adams, the deacon of the church. Growing up wanting to be a lawyer John Adams inaugural job was as a schoolmaster. In 1774 and 1775 he participated in the First and Second Continental Congress. He was the first vice president of the United States in 1789 and later became the succor president in 1797. His son John Quincy Adams became president which do him the first President to have a son conk president. He was often modest and claimed to be an ordinary small-arm, but it was obvious that his heart was not in it for fame. John Adams just wanted what every man and woman deserved. Freedom. Although John Adams was not as respected as other leaders resembling George Washington, he was still a man of great qualities. He attended many conventions and was a Boston representative in the General Court. He was also the chairman of the Continental control board of War and Ordnance in 1776. He helped make the agreement of Paris of 1783 possible and spent several years in France discussing it. He pushed for the United States rights to the Grand Banks and made it clear that the United States was now officially an independent nation.
