Marbury Hall Zeus

After a thorough walk of the Getty Villa, it was season to choose an maneuver piece that would hold the subject of my art history assignment. As I entered the room, a giant statue caught my eye and I knew I had found the one. This art piece was entitled the Marbury Hall Zeus. This statue was ab pop out nine feet in height and about terce feet wide. It was a statue of Zeus sitting on some face of a slab structure with a rigid, flat base. Made out of marble, this piece contained emphasis on idealization and aesthetics.
