From the first day I stepped onto the floor of the New York mercantile Exchange as a college intern, I was at a loss for words due to the chaos. While I knew the bedrock of commodity trading, it was difficult to get a handle on the complex transactions taking place all about me. Fortunately, I was working for some one(a) who took the time to teach me what a futures contract was.
